When is the right time to buy a house SMG? I am renting but I have 40k which I can put towards a housing deposit. I was thinking of putting down 25-30k on a deposit so I could buy a place with 2-3 rooms and then renting out the spare rooms to help pay for the mortgage. This seems like a good idea to me but I feel I could use the capital elsewhere in the market too and it’s going to take me a while to build back up to 10-20k again.
