I only every bought property or land for cash. You still can, start like I did, houses for renovation, lockups, garages, I only have three houses now, a town house, a foreign holiday home and a country house and I have teneted farm land and managed forestry and I have a ski lodge that I have barely used (maybe five times) that I should get rid of as I hated flying even before the pandemic. Even with a share on a private leg jet, its tedious and a waste of life. For years I was doing 20-40 flights a year and it has zero appeal.

Amongst those who are not specialists these things are impressive. 2pl8 puts you stronger than 90% of the male population (and 99.999% of female but who cares). 100k before 30 puts you above 95% percent the population

But it turns out these arbitrary markers aren't nearly as important as they are made out to be. They are very relevant MILESTONES but they are also quite far from the 'end state' of extremely high achievement.

3pl8 bench is fucking massive. 400k before 30 is enough to retire on (sell covered calls, lending DAI through an exchange for 11% apy, etc)

Now I'm halfway between DYEL and beef because I spent the lockdown drinking like a fish, sitting on my ass. Honestly my advice is do shit that's fun for you, I had fun doing deads but think squats are gay, so I didn't do very many squats.
Remember, being less than morbidly obese makes you fitter than over 50% of the US population, and if you have 1k in savings you're better off than like 90% of the fucking planet.

During my first 2 years at the gym I would just go through the motions. I knew basically nothing, but every 3-5days I would PR with my squats in either max weight or total volume. It wasn't even hard - it was just a matter of going through the motions.

It took me 3 years to get a 2pl8 bench. I would homegym 3-7 days a week for 2 fucking years and trying to get my bench to go from 180-> 185lbs was a fucking trial the likes of braveheart. Every 5 pound increment for my bench was a shakespearean fucking tragedy.

I am five-eight and during those three years I went from being a 220lbs fatty to a 185 lbs not really fat at all. Squatting and DL were natural for me and 3pl8 squat/DL happened inside of 2 years and weren't even an issue.

I wish it were more normal to discuss how long it takes people who are truly - TRULY - untrained to progress. I was 26 when I started lifting. I was quite athletic in high school - played varsity basketball despite being 5'8'' and could run 3 miles in 19 minutes.

After 8 years on my ass doing college and wageslaving I was fat and untrained. My legs (the only thing I ever used in High School) got with the fucking program right away. But my totally untrained upperbody took YEARS to even start getting used to the workouts.

I once youtubed "how long to get 2pl8 bench" after lifting for almost 18 months and this guy - some random fuckhead roider - was like "it should take you just under a year to go from untrained to 2pl8 if you are serious." What a fucking joke. I just got done looking through my workout logs for the last 3 years on my phone (zero to hero) my newbie gains took my from a 45 lbs bench to a 120lbs bench in 3 months and then I gained about 2% or 3% strength a month for 3 years. And now I can do 225 for a double.

Just keep going. Only compare yourself to who you were 2 weeks ago. And don't if looking back only makes you feel bad, then don't even do that. Just keep going.

For as useless and, often times, stupid as cross-fit is, I will say that it is fun. After several years in the gyms for 50 mins a day 4-7 days a week I just get fucking bored. Doing (mostly) inefficient or useless meme exercises is fun. If you are struggling to go to the gym with regularity it can help A LOT to add some variation in routine. I try to do 3 months of boring ass 6day/wk Nsuns every year to progress. And the rest of the year is less structuredd.

It all depends on perspective. I have 200k in crypto right now. That is significant money that would make my life a hell of a lot easier. But it'd still require wageslaving. It'd just mean a nice down payment on a house and some extra breathing space.

But my goal is to not have to work again. What I really want is a million, which I can live off while making some smart investment plays for passive income generation, particularly by reinvesting during the 2022 bear market and riding up the next golden bull run, rinse and repeat as necessary, while in the mean time building wealth via lending.

What do the blind see? Rather, what can they see? You might imagine they see black or darkness, but that’s not how they experience the world. Describe what you see from the back of your head. Not what's behind your head, but focus on what you can see behind your head. Confused? Having a hard time describing it? That's what nothing looks like. It's not black, it’s not dark, it’s what experiencing nothing feels like, there’s simply nothing. That void of sensation is located outside of your field of vision, it’s what happens when you try to experience something which you are incapable of perceiving.

That nothingness is what the blind see. That same nothingness is the thing the dead see as well. Now extend that nothingness to every other sense and that is what you will experience in the afterlife. You will be incapable of experiencing sight, smell, sound, touch, even your own thoughts when you die. Your stream of consciousness is just your brain experiencing its own machinations. When the brain stops functioning, that stream of consciousness ends.

It’s the cessation of thought, an absolute absence of being, lack of sensation - that is what death is. Death is the final destination of all living things, the inevitable conclusion, and it's not too far away. Remember, one day you'll wake up and you'll be old.

I honestly can’t think of life changing money. I make low six figures as a wage cuck. I play around in crypto for fun. If I made $25 mil I’d probably just keep living the same life. As much as I’d like to care less about work, I feel fulfillment from a job well done. As much as I’d like a bigger house, that’s more house to take care of. I am 34. Net worth is 750k but only about 150k of that was actually cash contributed. It's almost all from my house and some very fortunate things happening with my Pokemon cards.

The game takes a long time to win without favorable positioning and market events. Even the people who make 90k end up getting buttfucked by taxes and high urban CoL.

Spend a fortune on a shit load of shares on a stock.

'Write' call options on them and make immediate cash, i.e. a 'premium'.

But if the stock moons you're on the hook to pay up the people that bought the call options you 'wrote'. But if you own shares all you do is sell them to cover what you have to pay.

You don't make much unless you own a shit load of shares, and the underlying shares of the options you 'write' don't go up in value.

It's being on the selling side of a call contract. I put up 100 shares and you pay me a premium for the right to purchase those shares a set price.

Right now NCLH is at $27 and a weekly call is priced at $1.13. They are effectively paying me $28.13 for my $27 shares a week from now if they go above $27. I am selling the moonshot potential for about 4-5% the share price most weeks.

If the stock drops then they don't exercise the contract and I keep the $1.13. I am better off than if I had just held the shares because I got the $1.13 premium.

It's best applied when the market thinks the stocks are volatile and you think they won't be. Things can't get worse for Norwegian, and there's no event that is exceptionally beneficial to them. It's not like they can announce some breakthrough tech, they can just announced that cruising will resume. Without news the stock just hovers or slightly increases in prices.

I.E. You own 1000 shares of Apple

So you can 'write' up to 10 covered calls (because 1 call = 100 shares)

You can pick a date, say March 5, and think "I bet Apple won't be above $140 by March 5th, I'm going to write some covered calls and sell them to some suckers who think it will be above $140."

One of you will be right. If you are, the going rate to write 10 calls for March 5 is $330 that you can pocket immediately. Once the options expire on March 5th, you're safe and can keep your premium.

If you are wrong, and Apple moons, then the upside for the other guy is infinite and he can choose to sell them along to someone else, or he can choose to "exercise" his call options that he bought from you. Meaning your black ass just got 'assigned'. Meaning he wants the 1000 shares you chose to put up for $140 and you have to sell them to him at that price. Apple could have mooned all the way to $200 a share, but he gets to buy them from you at a discount for only $140. In this case you are 'covered' because you can just sell your 1000 Apple shares to pay him.

>came in thinking $100,000 would be life changing money

Life changing...hmm...you realize to a fat person a pair of running shoes may be life changing? What are those, $120?

You realize a lot of people could change their lives literally by REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF CRAP AND SHIT AND GARBAGE they crowd their lives and mind with?

Some dumbass could spend $100,000 on a single car. Would his life change?

You'd be surprised what actually can be life changing. It could be a sentence in a book.

The money is also connected to the person. Money alone doesn't change anything. How it's used, the person using it, if they're using it as part of a larger plan, etc.

A person could use that $100,000 to move somewhere else completely. Life changing.

Someone could use the smallest thing as a catalyst to change their lives and likewise someone could spend a million dollars trying to find pleasure and still end up unsatisfied.

What am I trying to say? The biggest life changes come from the inside out. Outside in may be doomed.

>does it require years
If you can't 2pl8 with 1 year of consistent lifting and diet, maybe.
It took me 3 months from no pushups to being barely able to do 10, and I'm a fatass.

It's because Americans are low I.Q. mutts who's brain is ran by the media. T.V. gets tall guys, put them in movies, and gets short guys, puts them in movies and makes them appear tall by giving them 3 inch heeled boots and giving them favorable angles. The American women who consume media at a rate ten fold of what men do, in turn want the men they're exposed to by the (((media))). The media tells them what society is, what society wants, and what society should strive to be. Since women are social creatures who follow authority, they follow the media, since the media is their authority. And the response of brainlet Americans? Educate their women? Stop the degenerate media? Nope. A rat race to make themselves taller, act like negroes, act like simps, etc in the hopes of getting what they put in the pedestal, PUSSY>

Not him, but I started with 700, made 6k out of that. Showed people around me that have more money than they know what to do with that I made that much money. They gave me money and trust me to make them money (around an extra 5k of "donations", I told them I'd keep a percentage, and that I can't guarantee I'll make it, they agreed. With my 6k and their 5k, I made 25k, handed out the 5k back to them and told them that I almost lost it and they're lucky to keep their original money. So now have 20k. So from 700 to 20k in these last few months.

This is true. Many Americans don't understand the power of money in poorer countries. HOWEVER, poor countries are NOT safe. I don't know how it is in the Philippines but I can tell you that in Mexico if you're rich you have a target on your back. My family is filthy rich in Mexico (they moved there to start up businesses) but we've had many of our family members threatened and killed. I've contemplated going to a Latin American country to set up businesses but I'd hate to live there with a lot of money. A literal target on your back and your families 24/7. I honestly don't know how rich Mexicans put up with the uncertainty of life, but I guess that's just life for them.
