Interesting you are going more on ETH than BTC. I am wondering if I should flip my portfolio to do the same.

I'm diversified in my non-BTC holdings but I feel like I am holding too much BTC sometimes.

Mind you, the entire market seems to correlate, I guess that just means it is still very early days. It's not like every company in the FTSE correlates.

Just goes to show how much upside potential there still is in crypto.

I prefer to consolidate and not risk diluting myself from any substantial gain. Though, I do have another portfolio of alts which I cycle into my main portfolio generally every week. Risk management is relative anyways, I'm young so this works for me.

In my opinion, BTC is a hedge against volatility. Alts certainly do follow bitcoins trend, but they have far more upside, Ethereum I believe is still yet to surge, particularly if you take a look at the previous bull run.

My concern about ETH is that it’s already gone up about 5x in the last few months and absurd gas fees have hampered it. It’s constantly losing out on sats, but going up on $. It’s being pulled up by BTC rather than by it’s own merit and it’s notable that there’s constant bad news about ETH 2.0.
