You either buy the blue chips (BTC, ETH, LTC) or you ride the wave.

The last wave was decentralized finance.
The current wave is Binance smart chain tokens.
The next wave (in my opinion) is non-fungible tokens.

I'm thinking of ETH, but I also wanna diversify. I'm thinking LTC, LINK, BSV, & DOGE

The SUKU ecosystem is migrating – from Ethereum to Hedera Hashgraph. In doing this it seeks to leverage the Hedera Token Service (HTS) and Hedera Consensus Service (HCS). The benefits expected by SUKU include improvements in speed, security, stability and governance.

The economic contrast with Ethereum, which can charge the equivalent of US$83, is considerable. In contrast, Hedera offers fixed, low fees denominated in US$ for using the Hedera Token Service. This includes creating an NFT for $1 and transferring them for less than a cent. Furthermore, this remains fixed – which means developers do not face massive fluctuations in transaction fees.

eftpos HAS announced it has joined the Hedera Governing Council and will run the country’s first Hedera network node this year.

Hedera. The company's "Hedera Hashgraph" is described as "a decentralised public network on which developers can build secure, fair applications with near real-time finality."

We're told the platform is "owned and governed by a council of the world's leading organisations including Avery Dennison, Boeing, Dentons, Deutsche Telekom, DLA Piper, eftpos, FIS (WorldPay), Google, IBM, LG Electronics, Magalu, Nomura, Swirlds, Tata Communications, University College London (UCL), Wipro, and Zain Group", with a white paper on the organisation here and Hedera's official video on the Hashgraph embedded at the end of this article

eftpos says Hedera is "designed to be the most decentralised governance model for a public ledger" with the Hedera Governing Council including "a group of highly diversified enterprises and organisations overseeing a global network of nodes that aims, among other things, to enable low cost micropayments for a range of use cases such as the Internet of Things (IOT) and access to content streamed over the internet."

Mance Harmon, CEO and co-founder of Hedera Hashgraph, said, “As Australia’s debit card system operator, eftpos is a critical component of the country’s financial infrastructure, processing over 2 billion transactions in 2020 worth an average of more than $300 million each day.

"We are pleased that they have joined the Hedera Governing Council as part of their new Australia-first digital product strategy. We look forward to their collaboration with other Council members and participants of the Hedera ecosystem to help make micropayments and other innovative financial models a reality for millions of consumers and billions of IOT devices,” added Harmon.

As the 17th Council member, eftpos notes that it "joins a growing network of large enterprises, including Avery Dennison, Boeing, Dentons, Deutsche Telekom, DLA Piper, FIS (WorldPay), Google, IBM, LG Electronics, Magalu, Nomura, Swirlds, Tata Communications, University College London (UCL), Wipro, and Zain Group."

We are told that "members of the Hedera Governing Council are responsible for running the initial nodes of the Hedera network, as well as guiding both strategy and software development, over a maximum of two consecutive three-year terms. This contributes to stability and is conducive to maintaining diversity and decentralisation of the public network.

"Hedera Hashgraph’s node policy and codebase are undergoing continuous updates, to which Council members will contribute, supporting a governance model that eliminates the risk of forks, provides safeguards for users, and preserve the integrity of the Hedera network."

Last week, news broke that the UK’s South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust had tapped software company Everyware and distributed ledger technology firm Hedera Hashgraph to track the temperatures of the Pfizer vaccine throughout the transportation and storage process. Thanks to Internet-connected thermometers in the refrigerators, temperatures are automatically recorded to Hedera’s ledger.

During its first year as a publicly available distributed network, Hedera averaged approximately 750,000 transactions per day, almost the same as the Ethereum network over the past year. In addition, this is approximately 18x the number of transactions the Ethereum network did (30-40,000 transactions per day) during its first year as a publicly available network.

Over the past month, the Hedera Hashgraph network processed an average of 1.5 million transactions per day, almost double that of the Ethereum network. Unlike other public decentralized networks, the Hedera Hashgraph network fees do not fluctuate significantly as network utilization grows. The Hedera Hashgraph transaction fees are set in fiat (USD), but paid in HBAR, and the exchange rate between fiat and HBAR is aggregated from multiple sources and updated regularly to reflect current market rates. This structure eliminates spikes in network fees and enables developers to predict and control their planned spending in order to successfully build and run applications on the platform.
