As promised in some previous afternoon smg threads I did the DD on QURE Uniqure NV , on the financial side they are a billion market cap company currently trying to cure the bleeding ones (haemophilia) and the dancing ones (Huntington disease), their biggest hit was in 2016 when they released a treatment for lipo disease, their gene therapy doesn’t look promising, their previous trails failed in small groups of patients and even in animals models , they are trying now with adenovirus and risky neurosurgery for huntingtin disease, would not buy even with a shotgun pointed at my balls

the benefit of dividends happens during the growth phase, DRIP adds more shares, which increases the dividend which adds more shares, which increases the dividends, etc.

Its a snowball effect.

Moreover dividend growth adds income with 0 effort and 0 capital required.. In 2021 so far, dividend increases has added about $160 to my annual income (that pays me every year). I would need to invest $6K at my current dividend rate in order to add that much to my annual income.

This is a literal cheat code for investing and very few people take advantage of it.
