I know theres a need for privacy, but pure privacy would make people sweat about accepting it. Some of the US exchanges don't even carry Monero. Bittrex even delisted it with couple of other privacy coins. Tell any business that people can wash coins with Monero and they would think twice about accepting it. Even if those optional privacy transactions are small, I don't think anyone is coming after you unless you do something extremely illegal. By the way, how many optional privacy coins out there other than Decred and soon Litecoin? Do they even have the amount of volume Litecoin gets?
