Shill me on this.
Why will it make me rich? What does it do? What’s a make it stack?

It lets middle market banks lend out their excess short term cash to each other instead of getting jewed by the large banks. It’s basically an aave for entities with 100M+ in cash. Make it stack is 250k-500k conservatively.

Why would they not just use the repo market (where they’d be collateralised with securities)?
What would they collateralise the loans with?

It solves a specific problem, according to the founder. When institutions wire large sums of money to each other. It is covered in the AMA.

Short term cash, like 12 hours. It’s going to be like aave, deposit a certain amount before borrowing

>>28995388
The occ cleared banks to make payments with stablecoins in January. The lending/depositing will be in stablecoins. Buying ersdl is just a licensing fee. Weak fud, this project is infuddable.

I believe they plan to charge a lower interest rate than what is normally provided on the repo market. They want their product to be more enticing to both borrowers and lenders for extremely short term loans. They are trying to build a platform which allows, as Howard puts it "sophisticated lenders" to interact in Defi space. I believe the white paper refers to the implementation of a stable token as the source of liquidity for collateral, might have to double check that.

I see this as opening up institutions to defi markets. As people like to make the comparison, AAVE for merchant banking.

Howard is like the Jewish Walt Disney of the crypto space.
