I think my initial mistake was that I should have built up a better initial capital in some more stable coins.

Anyway I lost it on BAO, RBC and GRT because I bought AFTER their pumps like a retard.

Most projects from 2018 are dead and their value is now ~0. You missed out on gains but also missed out on losses.

Sure you can point to link,eth,and btc but you probably would have sold them at a loss when their values went to 80% of what they used to be.

DYOR and find coins that solve a problem worth solving with a team that can solve it. I like XHV because it's got a good team with a good plan and has room to grow, but that's just my shill. Find a project that you belive it and ride it to 0x or 100x. Good luck anon

Get out of that bad trading position. Use foresight before you make financial decisions. If you notice youre making an irrational decision, take a step back, reframe yourself, ground yourself and do yourself a favour by refraining from indulging in emotional behaviour.
Take a break from crypto but keep an eye on coins youve researched and are interested in. When you see the dip, thats your buying opportunity.
We all made noob mistakes by buying at the top. Obviously dont sell when it goes down unless you know that it wont ever go back up.

Do some research for real. You'll get burned every time if you dont learn from your mistakes and enter the crypto space with no knowledge of what to do.

Many of them are bullshitters, especially the ones who post charts and say "im bullish on X because muh red+green lines" so you'll have to do some Men In Black-style searching thru shit to figure out whats good and whats not.

Just make sure whatever you invest in has an actual team with pictures and everything, a whitepaper written in LaTeX and many pages in length, and also a PURPOSE.

Your problem is that you're way too emotional about this. You'll never make it like that. It's obvious you're obsessed with missing out, and concern about being down 15% should not be a thing if you're going into something like crypto.

You have to recognize when an opportunity has passed, be at peace with it and understand that there will be others. Don't FOMO into something that's done a 5x yesterday, you'll get burned. Don't gamble with shitcoins shilled here unless you're willing to lose everything. Don't invest more than you're willing to lose anyway, especially during a crypto bubble (yes, we're probably heading into one). Don't chase PnD schemes, you'll get burned. If you go into new shitcoins realize that most of them will not survive the crash.

Pick some projects that you think will do well long term, buy it when it's down and just hold. Don't try to exactly time the market or swing trade. Don't refresh your blockfolio every 3 seconds. If it's a red day and you can't handle it, don't look at it and do something else with your day. Decide what's enough to take profits, and when you reach that, TAKE PROFITS.

I'm a retard and did no research, just aped in and got lucky.

They provide real value and solve a universal problem in blockchain (blockchain-agnostic problems). These are the big multipliers, but the reason you can't see them is because you keep believing what you read on here.
