Is XMR a scam?

>> No.28815765

Monero seems like one of the few coins with real utility and substantial technical innovation. Do you have any actual criticisms of it? Undervalued IMO

>> No.28816080

i think its pretty good but it needs a big pump from someone like elon to gain more traction imo. Seems like only shady people buy it rn

>Seems like only shady people buy it rn

that means it's an artificially suppressed market, it makes it a better value for those who see through the FUD

as normies become more sophisticated with crypto, they will realize monero is what they thought bitcoin is (real privacy) and it will outperform BTC big

>> No.28816367

all coins led by morbidly obese people are scams. monero, chainlink, cardano. no counterexamples are known
doesn't mean you can't make money from it

Who cares. XMR has a weak forced niche and is most probably only used by those into KP. Ill just coinjoin if I'm paranoid about privacy.

Yes, it's a scam. Do not bother with XMR. Get ETH instead.

Unlike the literal retards here who promote scams and tokens as if it were the eighth world wonder, the monero community embraces skepticism and even promotes a weekly Sunday place for everyone to express the negative points of the project and other skepticism. You can find such a thread on plebbit.

Fortunately fluffypony is just a troll who doesn't even merge code anymore. Monero has 7 core members, some anonymous (smooth, luigi, otto) and some not (Riccard, binaryFate and ArtictMine). I think I'm missing someone...

I wish 4chan introduced an IQ test before people posted so you fucking double-digit can stay away.
You can determine the total supply of coins with a command on CLI. Coinbase transactions (miners' rewards) are transparent. That's the total supply. Congratulations.

>>28817701
>Ill just coinjoin if I'm paranoid about privacy.
ChainAnalysis literally flags all bitcoins with a risk level and if you coinjoin yours then have fun being most likely added to a fucking arbitrary "risk list". I only hold Bitcoin if they came DIRECTLY from a KYC exchange. Otherwise it's a risk.

If you don't have three digits of XMR then you're doing it wrong.
And at least a full BTC. That's the ticket.
