Just buy fucking BTC. Do not sell it. Hold it is the only way you make money. Do not trade on margin. If you do only 2x.

a year and a half. Halted it for a while. Started recently and still suck dick. Missed out o the parabolic run. Hoping there's a 2.0.
Biggest regret was trading a bear market and also not managing risk. 50% of my portfolio is gone. Could have had 100k. Also regret selling a full stack at a 2x when I should have just sold 50% at a 2x and ride the rest to the end of the bullrun.

Advice.. only sell 50% at a 2x for alt coins (for bitcoin, just hodl even with 2x. The point is to get more bitcoin).

Manage your risks.

ONLY trade a bull market and preferably when it's going parabolic (which it hasn't been for weeks now). Only long in a bull market too. Don't look to short until the bull market is clearly ending

and by manage risk. I mean trades should be .5%-1% risk. Would never even dream of risking 5% and up UNLESS it's pure gains from the market, BUT I haven't been able to win trades at all because again, I suck massive dick at trading.
Also, even though I suck dick at trading, look at hrly candles MINIMALLY. Anything less will have fake patterns and you WILL lose money

Since 2019, but I just hold btc until 42k, then started messing with shitcoins
A week ago I bought xns, then started to read about it and its shit team that already rugpulled, chickened out when it was falling like 2 cents I entered at 0.0069 and lost 10 bucks 2 days after mooned at 0.0175, it would have been my easiest 2.5x

Got 2 entire bitcoins confiscated by US federal government glowniggers for just having them on SilkRoad when they shut it down. This one stings the most. I'm not even under US jurisdiction.

Spent roughly 10 bitcoins on various drugs from 2011-2014.
I didn't know lads. I didn't know what would happen in the future. I checked out of crypto entirely for a couple of years after Mt. Gox. This one doesn't sting as bad. I had fun, and I'm not exactly poor today. Still, had I known, I would have played my cards differently.

>Never sell BTC
>Never sell LINK
I had a 2k stack of LINK that I sold half of for a downpayment on a house at $15 when I bought at $3.22. Even if I sell this place at a profit in 5 years or keep it as a rental when I inevitably have to move because of my job, I will always think about how I could have bought more and never should have sold. At least I'm not a filthy swinglinker.

>> No.28762700

Approx 5 years, tried some trading, bought some shitcoins, had some fun. Now I hold only stuff I know about, projects with a long term vision.

Biggest regret is from the first few years when I did not trust the technology and FOMO-ed often. You have to know what you invest in, this will help your portfolio grow. Although sometimes it is fun to throw a few % in some shitcoins that gain traction here, for example I made 100x on my RBC investment.

Most important thing is to learn what you invest in for your own peace of mind. DCA unless your local news talk about crypto. Plan ahead how much you want to invest (I invested 10% of net worth) and for how much/when you want to exit. For crypto a good strategy is to set a realistic price goal and from there sell a bit after each 10-15% price increase. Don't waste your time and money on daytrading.

Im too new to tell you how to make money, but I can definitely tell you how to lose money.
Its easy,
1. trading too much and ignoring gas fees because of fomo.
2. Panic selling during dips
3. Fomoing into pump and dump meme scams.
4. Seeing the tip of a parabolic curve and thinking it will continually go up forever. It wont, sell, and buy the dip. Parabolic curves always attract paper hands.
5. Fomo.

I definitely cant give you good advice, but if you trade like me, you will lose thousands.

>dont trade because you're bored

>would 10% every 10% increase after you hit the target price be too conservative?

Depends on what your goal is and how much you need the money. Make an excel spreadsheet, write down what you have and distribute the theoretical sales across a realistic price range. Considering the nature of crypto markets I wouldn't plan to hold too much between bullmarkets. It's better to leave some profits on the table by selling early than to keep holding the bags for a few years. Historically prices have dropped approx 90% from the ATH. These bags will be extremely heavy, speaking from experience.

By the majority of the posts ITT, the best advice is just: don't be a daily trader.

Work only in long term timeframes
