Yeah, crypto. Haven't done shit with the money yet other than spend a bit on buying stuff for my hobbies (e.g. guitar, camera lenses) and give my dad early retirement and a new car. The plan was to travel a bunch in 2020 and go on a spending spree, but corona cucked me. Now I'm waiting for the vaccine to do it. well i traveled a lot in '18. nice for a while but had enough of it after a few months. also lived in a luxury apartment (rented not bought, it was in another country) which was also exciting for a month but then it was the exact same feeling as living in a rathole, nothing extra. also people attitude toward you doesn't improve in any meaningful way because you have a better apartment or any material equipment. all in all i think money is a mistake. my spendings are lesser now than when i was poor, mostly because i'm not obsessing over having the bleedingest edge overclocked pc for faster compile times
