What are some underrated crypto exchanges? What parameters do you consider when deciding on which platform to use, or do you mix and match multiples?

Also, how do coin reward programs for exchanges (BNB for binance, XCM for CoinMetro) work when there's a max supply of those coins? Wouldn't it mean that when the max is reached, those rewards would have to come from another persons' wallet?

>underrated crypto exchanges
That's hands down https://coin-metro.com

Investigate which licenses these guys are aqcuiring and how absolutely massive that is.

For me to decide I mainly look at customer support, when my coins are stuck I want to talk to an actual human bean who speaks English.
Secondly of course to price and coin availability.
For me it's CoinMetro + Binance/Uniswap.

As for reward programmes with native coins, there's always a fixed amount of coins circulating. They are also being sold and bought on the market. For example CoinMetro has a sign up promo of 5 euros, what you actually get is 5 euros worth of XCM, this is bought from the market.
If you join while XCM is 20 cents, you get 25ish XCM for that 5 euro, if you join when XCM is 1 euro, you get 5ish XCM.

use exchanges that earn money with their business.

they have no reason to exit scam you when they make billions of their customers trading on their platform.

Kraken is my favorite fiat portal

>CC emergency buys for when I fuck up and have too little ETH fees
>Fast as fuck regular SEPA transfers
>Actually backed by a bank
>Good volume

I also like Kraken. Using Binance.US makes me angery due to how clunky everything is and the endless 2-FA.

for fiat coinmetro is my first choice and cex.io is a my second choice
for alts binance/huobi/gate.io are the ones I go to first but I dare not leave anything on those exchanges

the exchange I pick depends on fees/coin selection/fiat on/off ramps

I don't know how binance's rewards work these days because there's so many options but for coinmetro there's a treasury that holds the exchange's xcm which they pay out for market making/staking/etc and they add xcm to the treasury by converting exchange fees to xcm via market buys and burning half of the xcm from that fee

Binance right now. After Bitmex’s demise, try looking into FTX.

Both these exchanges are onboard Swipe to issue their crypto debit cards. More exchanges to follow.

why would you want this? Stick to established exchanges that have stood the test of time. Binance, Kraken, Huobi and Coinbase Pro to name a few. If you want a CEX with more alt coin offerings maybe Gate.io, KuCoin or MXC and for options there's always FTX. Don't touch any other CEX with a ten foot pole, you have been warned.
