Since this is an Avax thread trying to get ETH to Avalanche is such a fucking load of shit I'm considering just eating gas fees to make WETH any other ERC-20 so I can just fucking transfer it.

I followed their shitty fucking tutorial to wrap it as WETH and it concludes by saying "Congratulations! You wrapped your Ethereum and transferred it to Avalanche, which can now be used to swap tokens or add liquidity to a pool on Pangolin." which is clearly bullshit because it's still on Ethereum just as a wrapped ERC-20 now.

So I tried to send it to Avalanche using the bridge and it did absolutely nothing and when I try again it fails. 80% of everything about Metamask/AVAX/Pangolin fails regardless so I just keep resetting and trying again but this is getting ridiculous.

Yeah I would never use ERC-20 defi to try to get into the Avalanche network again but I'm trying to move funds that were previously in there. To try to back them out into Binance right now would be $200 gas to put WETH back into ETH or another binance-accepted ERC-20 and then another $100 to send that to binance.
