Make it illegal to interact in any way with the Monero blockchain, monitor all traffic through ISP's in north america and block Monero interactions (this would render VPN's useless)

how do you cash out without going through a app or paying 30% to a crypto atm? Monero is traceable, the transactions aren't.

>what's stopping criminals/companies from laundering money and cashing out

Exchanges banning it. If you can't go from Monero to cash criminals are going to be gigafucked unless you can buy mansions with Monero straight in 2040.

Monero is amazing but you have to be a complete faggot to think it has value. Even those countries that don't ban BTC, will ban Monero because it's too private. It has been delisted and will be further de-listed from exchanges, and there will just not be many buyers due to it's nature.

Wait.. what? I've never seen a post make less sense than yours. The whole point of using Tor or a VPN is so your ISP can't see your traffic.. you're traffic is wrapped in an encrypted tunnel and can only be seen at the point the traffic exits the tunnel (the VPN server, or the Tor exit node).

If you want a cracker of a privacy project, which is extremely undervalued and is literally going to change the way developers implement native privacy into software, I suggest you check out oxen

Yep, you can. Once the funds go to a XMR wallet they've literally entered a black hole. However, you need to be smart if you're truly trying to hide from someone attempting to track your transactions. A couple of examples:
> offline wallets if possible
> always use TOR if you need to interact with an exchange or online wallet.. no exceptions on this one
> don't re-use any wallets
> after sending to XMR, don't send to BTC straight after
> even better, send to multiple BTC wallets, each with differing amounts and at differing time intervals

This increases difficulty of tracking your internet usage and makes it harder to correlate transactions into XMR with outgoing to your fresh wallet.

The problem is by the time they comprehend applications like this they would be logically compelled to abandon their authoritarian worldview. The very existence of one-way functions is such a death-blow to surveillance, it's like God himself just rugpulled the fabric of reality out from under surveillance agencies right before they thought they were gonna end history.

Nothing, that's why we like it. You can sell shitcoins to Bobby "Two-Feet" Malone for a massive profit and he'll flip it immediately. Probably lose a couple hundred in the transaction, but he makes cocaine money, he doesn't give a shit.

It's allowed because the IRS is literally retarded. They and the SEC are so out-of-touch with real world developments they still think that Bitcoin can't be traced without their super advanced chainanalysis tools. They're just beginning to find out Monero exists.

And, most importantly, XMR IS NOT ILLEGAL
