I'm the only retard who's down from initial investment? My hands are made of sand or some shit, can't hold anything for more than a day. I buy and shit drops.

I bought ethereum at past ath and saw my money evaporate. Returned to crypto last year and I get really afraid of that shit happening again. I'm not putting a really big amount but it sucks

The trick is to buy when the pump wears off. Right after Elongated Muskrat pumps BTC on Twitter is probably not the best time to buy BTC for example.

i used too much leverage so got rekt on the first small crash, other than that would be hard to have lost money

You have to lose so that others can win. That's why it's a called a zero sum game.

My readings have told me that every successful trader loses or only makes a VERY small profit on 80% of trades, and only hits a homerun in that remaining 20%. The idea is to minimize losses so that you haven't eaten too hard into that 20% when it finally gets here and coast on minor returns in the meantime. Also, be sure to invest your big hits into something lower risk with more consistent returns, like lending or something. Not as glamorous, but it's the only way to avoid FOMOing everything away once you get lucky. You have a horrible monkey brain that responds well when it hits the button and a banana comes out, now set the bananas aside in a pile and stop jamming them back into the hole to poke out some more.

I agree with you
I had only one big loss that wasn't fast. The rest of them were me don't knowing or not even getting to type the stop loss
