If you're interested in economics, the 4 years are a great intro, and there are many paths you can branch off into. Unlike something like engineering though, you can't just rely on the degree to get a job, you need to take the initiative and delve deeper into it on your own time. For example if you wanna work in finance, complete a degree like CFA along with economics major. Also make sure to do internships.

Go with civil engineering if you suck at math. It's the easiest engineering major out there besides industrial engineering, and you can get a comfy government job
