I haven't heard of Sentinel before, anyone care to give me a brief rundown? Their page has a lot of masturbatory language sites like to use to add as many positive sounding adjectives and buzzwords to whatever they're trying to distribute as possible

dVPN is ‘D’ecentralized where anyone can host a node and anyone can connect. This happens by using blockchain to allow a P2P resource (bandwidth) marketplace and provable encryption.

Why? Centralized VPN providers steal and sell your data and cannot prove you are really encrypted. With Sentinel if any node host tries to change the encryption settings then the node will not connect to the dApp. It also allows node hosts to get paid for excess bandwidth which in emerging markets will be phenomenal!
