Network fees on the BTC network are atrocious right now due to all the traffic going on and it's costing people double digits to move BTC around and it can take several minutes to get a confirmation. LTC on the other hand still has sub-penny network fees and transfers in less than 10 seconds so it's doing it's intended job pretty well of being a currency first and a store of value later much akin to how silver compliments gold.

I bought bitcoin in 2017 at 3k because I saw the numbers were going up and it surpassed its previous high, so I felt relatively confident that I could sell them at a higher price to someone else who sees the numbers going up even higher and FOMO in.
I sold at 11K when I saw it going parabolic, a bit early from the 20k top but whatever.
I didn't feel a sense of accomplishment like I do when selling stocks of a company that I got in early due to analyzing the market fundamentals and seeing potential growth of an actual company that employs people and makes goods and services to benefit mankind. I feel good that I supplied capital to the company in its early days, partaking in capital raisings and such. Then the company grows and rewards my investment in them. Fuzzy feelings. Very comfy.
