people who bought the dip of a lifetime during covid panic can start realizing 10x+ long term gains. volatility through the roof but it's the top for the next 5 years.

Yours also sounds realistic.

But I don't think we'll have a long bear market like in 2018, if it's five years without all time high it's 5 years of crabbing.

Honest question for everyone holding the stable coins: Will you guys watch your coins go up and down for months or will you cash some out and buy back over the year?

You're calling ETH a stable coin? It's the best performing Crypto of the top 100 from 2020 to now

i don't think it will be a long bear market necessarily. in 2018, things basically bottomed at the end of the year (for BTC and ETH, at least. not looking at random shitcoins) and have been rising since then. like, summer of 2019 both those coins had risen 200% or something from the end of 2018, so 2019 was basically a flat/positive year with some turbulence, and 2020 was just a straight bull market if you disregard the covid dip. that's kind of what i see happening again, a sharp and severe drop but then a longer, slower bull market. ETH 2.0 is a huge wild card though, ETH might go nuts in 2022 while BTC stagnates.

Best play is to remain in stables. Not touching any altcoins as they will unironically go -90+%. Also could swing the obvious btc swings on the way down(like how it crashed real fast down to 6k in 2017 and bounced). But who knows what will happen.

If they don't fuck it up, I believe it will go astronomical. We'll see.
