I have a friend who decided to buy 1 share only because it's a meme.

He wanted to buy at $200 through his bank, but his bank was so slow, it didn't execute his order for like 3 days. It dropped to like $120 and he bought it. He also paid $21 in bank fees to buy it (and he'll need to pay $21 to sell it, too!).

Now it's worth $50. I asked him and he says he plans to hold the share forever because of it being a meme.

I just... don't understand some people.
