So...what’s gonna happen when Arbitrum’s link staking rolls out?

won't be staking with arbitrum will just make it so that the node operators pay immensely less gas fees which means sergey won't need to sell so much LINK to pay them off aka we pump

>> No.27657146

Anyone hazard a guess to how much staking will be apy? There are some lending pools currently offering ~8% so surely it must be higher than that?

>> No.27657581

>>27657146
it's all pure guess at this point really, but I think it will be lower than ~8%, but far more secure and non risky

>>27656873
I think you missed something anon. I’m not talking about Link nodes staking. Arbitrum doesn’t have it’s own token for a reason.

Quads. Witnessed. Arbitrum will btfo of gas fees, and then we'll finally see if the spiel "SN is only dumping because of muh gas fees" checks out. He could be doing that, but he could very simply be supressing the price, flying under the radar long enough , so he can get the whole thing together. Also, btfo speculators, favoring long-term holders.

I expect that the dumping will continue, accelerate, and despair will ramp up while the rest of the market enters a golden bull and we're left kicking ourselves for sitting it out.

staking won't start with an APY figure, just a raw income amount. What determines the APY is what people bid it down to aka how much LINK pumps once it is an income producing asset. Same as a dividend stock
