MANIA PHASE

Are we getting a lot of media attention already?

>> No.27615509

Except the problem with this is you need actual evidence other than this graph because you can just zoom in and make it look like the mania phase is already done. Don't you think it was already beaten to death when the media was pumping out stories of early BTC adopters and gigantic companies were mining it in warehouses with thousands of GPUs and drove the price up of those as well?

Post like these are a big red flag that we are in "returning to normal"
Straight up delusional people thinking they are about to 10x and spending the money in their heads.

Do you guys realize the cycles get shorter each time?

Do you guys realize that the fools who would have bought you bags at $70k just got dumped on by gamestop and doge?

We are about to cool off hard.

I do think we'll be back to ath within 12 months though.

Look at the btc "all" on cmc. The 2019 peak is still a "cycle" it just doesnt seem like it because 2017 was ridiculously over hyped by the media 20k

Btc will hit $100k+ one day, but the near future smells like dump.
You can tell by all the youtubers and all the delusional people here that have forgotten what red feels like.

I don't think we're there yet. Last time was quite different from this (the 20k peak). Biz was absolutely filled with shit, people complaining that their shitcoin only mooned 50% this week and being legitimately angry at this. Deepbrainchain went up 800% for fucks sake.
We're at a way higher BTC price but the mania is a shadow of the last mania. Not saying you're wrong necessarily, I honestly don't know.

Yes, the media has been covering it. The mania starts when the institution backed CEXes start doing their version of the yield farm ponzi. People will want those sweet returns.

no, it's not. Cycles are dictated by halvings. That doesn't mean there can't be aftershocks during the bear market phase. Just like how the 2013 bull run having a double peak doesn't actually make it two mini-cycles.

There is going to be overcollateralized loans and margin trading beyond what we say in 2017. This is going to be the biggest, weirdest money laundering + tax avoidance we've ever witnessed.

We're at the return to 'normal' phase, not mania.

The ATH was from a deeper, quieter mania, boomers and salarymen and funds buying bitcoin as they now considered it a real 'proven' asset. Less showy but more powerful.

Literally everyone is speculating on it, it's pointless to hold for any inherent value. If it starts dumping there's no reason to hold, people will panic sell it off a cliff. 8000 by June

that's my issue with this analysis. you can just zoom out to any convenient point to create this exact graph over and over.

yep and it's entirely correlated to the stock market. .9 correlation.
if the stock market crashes, guys like granhtham say it's likely in the next 2-3 months, crypto will go down.

things look very toppy, but again there's so much free money with 0.25% interest rates and stimulus that I am honestly confused on how far this will run. I am conservative and think the downside risk is greater than any upside remaining.

nobody knows what's happening; the case that megacycles are dying off and replaced by speculative trading mini bubbles is just as true if you look at it another way.
more participants and better knowledge of the halving, plus the fact that the halving supply is less and less means that it is less relevant

The cycles are getting longer bro. This is the fourth cycle, and each cycle has been longer than the last. Not only longer, but less parabolic.
I do agree that we're likely to see a dip and further accumulation for 6-12 months. Right now, we're advancing even more parabolically than the last 2 cycles. This has never happened before with bitcoin, so I think we are likely to slow down and stall for a bit, maybe dump back to 25k for a while.

That said, we are in unprecedented times in terms of fundamental reasons to hold bitcoin. Cash is fucking garbage that is being inflated away at an absurd rate. It doesn't matter what the 'official' CPI says, people can see that their cost of living is skyrocketing. Nobody wants cash. Bonds are dead. People are starved for returns, and are seeking exposure to risk. Well, if you want returns and risk exposure, there's nothing quite like bitcoin. It may be that the fundamentals of this unprecedented reality have just flipped everything we thought we knew about bitcoin price behaviour.
>tldr this time it's different!
