I just don't get these people. I'm not going to pretend that I'm this perfect genius, I made mistakes here too but I knew what I was getting in to. I only put $1,600 into my account, I made about $100 off of GME and AMC and was happy with that but I bought back in thinking it was going to rise again and not shit itself immediately, and instead I cut my losses early and started investing in real, non-meme stocks. I have over $20k in my main savings account that I wouldn't even dream of risking to earn big. So why are these people who are in the same boat as me risking it all for a fucking reddit fad? These are married people with serious fucking bills and student loands, I have minimum student loan debt that's barely more than the debt I'm paying for basic HVAC upgrades from last year, a house that I do fine with staying on top of the mortgage, and I still don't want to endanger my safety net. And they don't have this basic survival skill?
