i feel like a lot of people got into this without understanding why. They understood the notion of sticking it to be big guy, but didn't realize they were going to be burning the cash to do so. So many idiots seemed to actually believe this was going to make them rich. If they payed attention they'd have seen that the entire purpose was to run the stock into the ground. Buying maybe 10 shares at $8 is fine because you're spending $80 to fuck the hedgies. I have no idea where this notion came from where they were expecting it to actually go to like 10k/share and make bank thinking that was the actual strat. I didnt join because i didnt hear about it until it was well over $40/share. To me that wasnt money I was willing to toss for morals. I have sympathy for those people who got fucked from this, but holy shit they should have looked into the WHY rather than just going in it for the meme.
