Technically it can go either way, but this is absolutely a bearish exit leading into the symmetrical tri. We had a huge dump after a coordinated PND. XRP isn't bullish by a long shot.

Technical analysis works the majority of the time, both on the macro and micro scale. I can swing trade and make money every single day on various coins. I also hold a few in long positions because I know month to month or year to year they will have huge returns despite whatever day to day fluctuations may occur.
