i ditched an entire friend group twice, the first was because i thought they werent cool, though it wasnt conciously, i just chose to hang around people who i thought were "cooler" the second group was because they all moved on to shooting H after getting hooked on oxy and ended up on the street or possibly dead , dont really know

Advice from an oldfag, learn from my mistakes.
I had some good friends who slowly got out of my life, mainly because I didn't put much effort to keep them around or do things together.
If you want to keep friendships strong and lasting you both need to put in some effort into it.
Don't always wait for them to call you to do things, take the initiative as well.
