It hasn't.

Nothing has changed.

There are billions of dollars at stake and now their is astroturfed fud.

Ignore the noise. Hodl. The fundies are bleeding out of the ass every day this drags on.

Highly likely this comes to a climax next week.

Institutions are forcing the squeeze, now it’s just a matter of time

Hold like your fucking life depends on it because they’re going to try everything they can to crash the price and cover as much of their short as they’re able. The only thing that can stop this from going off are weak hands at this point

>> No.27235101

>>27233572
The narrative hasn't flipped, the other side of it is just screeching louder.
Every day that passes, shorts get more and more desperate. Some of them no doubt exited at key dips or much earlier on, but new ones have almost surely come in, and older ones that just don't know when to quit.
A bunch of calls that expired 1/29 landed in the money. These calls can be exercised to force hedge funds who haven't covered to buy the stock at this new inflated price. With such a small amount of stock moving around (low liquidity), we may see strange shit happen.
Nobody knows whats actually going to happen. The end explanation though is that the strategy that will guarantee some sort of payout is to hold and wait. So long as you aren't a dumb faggot who put in their life savings over this shit, what do you have to lose compared to what you have to gain?

>> No.27235352

>but new ones have almost surely come in
I don't know that, as risks are high.
They will wait until (they hope) people get tired.

The hedge funds and the banks supporting them are desperately trying to persuade anyone with GME shares to sell them as soon as possible so as to increase the supply of shares so the hedge funds can close their short positions as cheaply as possible.
Don’t fall for it. They have to end up buying the shares, why let them do it cheaply?

A couple of big banks will be bankrupt and once again the US taxpayers will be forced to bail them out. Then massive trade regulations banning normies out of trading. And that won't be the end of i, the billionaires will be out for blood. They will go after the people who started this, the most profitable investors and every eceleb who supported it in public.
The list is pretty long but it's only a couple thousand public figures at most. They might represent the majority of the people, but once the media's brainwashing starts to kick in, they will be left without support. Expect lawsuits, endless tax audits, PAs digging into your business, and if they get really desperate: goons breaking into your home and copying CP on it when nobody is there.
They can get all of that done to thousands of public figures for a tiny fraction of what this whole mess will end up costing them. There won't be any force to stop them, the US government will protect them all the way through it.

>> No.27235571

>>27235352
They are, but the payoff is equally as tempting as the idea of GME mooning.
If stock drops from 350 to 30 thats a massive win for people who shorted.
Numbers from S3 show short float is still up over 100 percent (although it has dropped since). Obviously this aren't confirmed numbers or anything, but it shows that there is still a solid chance that a short squeeze is very much in the making. Monday will be a very interesting day

>> No.27235719

You could do what I did. Buy as low as freaking possible, using a buy order, with a set limit, and set it to execute for the next two days. I set mine at 8, because that's how low it dipped Thursday, at one point. I set a sell order at 19, for half of the stock I bought, therefore, covering my ass. The rest of the stock therefore, cost me nothing more than the time it took me to place my orders. I didn't "short". I bought low. I sold when my profit was twice what I paid. So, now I have half my original stocks for mooning, and cashed out enough to where I am not going to "lose" anything.

Yes, definitely shorting rn can be tempting, but the pros consider risks too.
What if i'm shorting 1 million dollars at 300 and the price keeps increasing, since there's so much hype?
They know that the chance of a squeeze are increasing, and no one would risk to trade like that.
If they wait until the hype goes out, shorting 350 to 50 will be easy.
