So is Robinhood just stopping transfers because they're sweating bullets and afraid they're going to lose all their users before this blows over, trying to not go bankrupt from everyone bailing, or are they pulling the rug and planning to liquidate all assets and nuke themselves right before the big squeeze starts? I'm hoping for the first one, but expecting the last one.

I just opened a broker with Fidelity and just have to connect my bank to them. I was planning on transferring all my assets over there but decided it'd be better to hold on RH until after this is over in case my assets were still frozen when the big squeeze happens.
