If the market does actually survive the GME stock settlement thing, everything will be ack to normal by Wednesday.

Although I think half of the QQQ valuation loss was not even because of GME but because of earnings week. Most companies were so hyped and pumped up just before earnings that even when they posted an 1.5x over estimates, they still dropped like 2%.

What irks me so FUCKING much is the movement part of it. We are not "in" something together. We are not a tribe that does things together. We are not a force that can be steered towards "a good cause".
The most egregious examples are from 9fag tier sites where "Dood, now that we SHOWED THEM that we can win if we work together, let's work together on climate change!". Like, fuck you.

If I like the idea of something, I do it. If a shitton of other people like it, they do it too. It's the idea that has momentum, not the group. And you by definition cannot steer an idea.

Good question, has QE ever been deployed on this level before in the states? JPOW was talking the other week about wanting to increase inflation, has the amount of USD they've printed not had the desired effect already? I don't really know. I agree with Gregory's view that the first signs of the crash we'll see will be a spike in the 10 year yield. I like to think of the nuclear debt he refers to as those money printers printing more money printers, that print more money printers. Well, fission, but the image in my head is funnier. I think we have a good couple of boom years coming up, people have been stuck in their house and are eager to go out and spend money, make up for lost time.

Hey guys. Sorry to have to bring this hyped memestock up but I am afraid I'm tripping here. What happened to BB? Maybe some of us who have been around for longer than a week can help me trace the history of the BB shilling? I thought it was born on /biz/ a couple months ago. It seems like some faggots on leddit still trying to shill it but, whenever I go and look for BB it seems like it gets less and less. At some point people on /smg/ before the hype got unbearable said, that BB is just a distraction because there's no short squeeze going to happen. So I'm really wondering right now. I should've just sold $20+ but I was afraid that I couldn't time the top. Feels bad. I don't want to hold no bags. I don't want to have to keep hodling this shit for couple more years. I sold all of my major stock holdings last week to mitigate the risk throughout this current/upcoming market turmoil after near doubling my $ since last march, to which I found was the peak after witnessing the shakedown this past week. It already prevented thousands in loss on risker investments. I've been speaking with my family and friends frequently, we all see the needle finally meeting the bubble. I'm prepared to go back in and dollar cost average on the way down into stable ETFs and industrial staples. I bought in some precious metal physical funds for my IRAs and smaller monthly calls on volatility trackers to counter any small losses/inflation.

Do you think we saw the peak? P/E ratios too out of whack? I could see at least a 20% market contraction taking place over the next year or two.

Don't do this anon, you can't time a downturn. Sell when major stocks see weeks of negatives. It won't happen overnight. Buying non-cyclicals sounds like a good-enough play, but be prepared for money leaving the stock market itself altogether, and _everything_ will drop.

Remember Peter Lynch's eternal quote: "People lost a lot of money in recessions, but way more people lost way more money trying to predict the recession".

SOXL is leveraged, so it's an apple to oranges comparison.
The more appropriate comparison would be SOXX, and the two are very close in term of performance, TER, etc. Personally, I prefer S.MH because it determines its holdings by market cap - hence TSM is the largest holding, instead of INTC.
But I don't think there is going to be a meaningful difference in terms of returns in the long run.

>>27186532
>interesting to see ICLN, a friend is in already and he made some nice gains so far.
There's a variety of alternatives like TAN (only solar) or PBD. Especially the comparison with the latter is pretty difficult -- PBD is way less concentrated but also has a pretty significantly higher TER. I'm still not sure if ICLN was the correct choice desu.

Just looked at Sproutt. Very interesting.
Especially Gold & Silver (CER) seems interesting. And Platinum & Palladium (SPPP), though I'm not sure what these more unusual precious metals offer as opposed to Gold & Silver.
