Inflation is what kills fiat money be design. Silver spiked between 1979 and 1980 up to $50 (valued in the appropriate dollars for that time frame). It spiked again in May of 2011 up to $50. Now look at those numbers. How can something spike to the exact same price, 30 years apart? It's being manipulated like a 6 year old in a van outside of Chuck E. Cheese. $50 in 1980 is the equivalent of $136 in 2011 and $157 today. Considering that silver is asking $25.99 as of this post, that means that the, barring manipulation, physical should be going for about 3x that number ($78 give or take).

This does not account for the fact that silver has been manipulated since the inception of the Federal Reserve (and long long before then). If you followed the historic rate for silver since the beginning of recorded history, it should be going for about $125-$150 on any given day if you use the roman denarius and average cash price for a day of general labor (non-mexican) as a bench mark (1 days labor for 1 denarius).

Long story short, buy silver and fucking hold. It's not like crypto for quick cash, it's your backup when cash means nothing and we're still getting a new currency established. If you can turn a percentage of your crypto in metal, even better. BTC hit's $50K? Cash out $20K and turn that into silver and gold.
