Never mind currency devaluation which is what , among other things, fuels financial bubbles and creates extreme wealth disparities. Never mind the violent entities which do anything to maintain monetary control, the wars they start and/or prolong to maintain their dominance and presence. And none of this will rid off by following some other economic doctrine, and decentralization of currency minting isn't a permanent solution, as reasons will always be found in future to move back to a centralized form of wealth measurement/transfer. It's a cycle, and many empires go through these issues.
