If Ethereum gets optional zk-SNARKs which the devs have expressed interest in then Zcash has no reason to exist, optional privacy on Ethereum will trump it by sheer volume, unless Zcash goes 100% Shielded which they've said they won't, but if by miracle they did there's still no market for them as XMR has not only the market share but the bounties by Govts to break it that go along with it as additional proof its chad-tier.
