How DAIQ works is that when the price is <1, you can burn your tokens for "coupons". When the price is 1> you can redeem the coupons for extra tokens, which come from an allocated expansion amount set in a smart contract. The coupons expire depending on the amount of epochs that happen, which is dynamic and tied to how close the price is to the peg. Your bonus is dependent on how many epochs you set when you buy the coupons. When DAIQ is $1 and above you can bond your tokens instead of coupons. What this is, is that you make your tokens unmovable for a period of time, betting that the price will stay over $1, and you'll get bonus tokens in return.
Its actually one of the main reasons DSD is dumping right now, since DAIQ is better in every way. There's also been a few twitter shills that weren't even paid for by the marketing budget, so hype is steadily increasing right now.

Yeah it has dumped a bit. The initial price was like $1, then it mooned to $4 due to FOMO, and then crashed down to 0.15-0.20 for a few days. But it seems to be steadily regaining its footing.
The lowest its gone to is like 0.04 due to a retarded whale doing a single market sell of a shitton, but people quickly bought that up and it went back up in the following days.

You also don't have to participate in any of the coupon or bonding business. The coupon/bonding mechanics are just incentives to make the price more stable, and incentivize the token's price to not immediately dump when it hits its peg.

I don't personally know. I see the $1 EOY figure thrown around a lot but that would put the project at 1b mc, which sounds insane, but their whitepaper does mention trying to capture $50b in dormant liquidity however, and their tokenomics allow for token holders to rake in some passive income by disbursing 20% of the value of liquidated assets to stakers iirc. Who knows what the peak of this bullrun will look like though, every subsequent bullrun has made the previous one look like just a blip on the charts. Personally I plan on taking profits on the nonbelievers who are only buying on the news of the completed audit/mainnet launch, buying back in cheaper if possible, and taking those profits to other projects after the mainnet launch moon.
