Hi /biz, a year ago I post my video game account with Beta items, it's worth ~500 USD, I leave it thinking nothing will happen (I stop playing long time) someone just paid and funds are in hold in PayPal? The user created his ebay account 1 day ago

What security mechanisms should I take, before sending the username and password? At what time the funds are 100% safe in my account?

once u give it to him then he has to say its received, if he says its not received and if paypal takes his side he gets refund but if u can get some proof u sent it to him then u will get the money

I see...
Good proof could be me loging into the game with the username and password I just send him, and inside the game show the account is the same as the announced on Ebay....

Video works?

Don't give it.
Mark the item as no longer available and post again later.
You will get fucked here.

What change if I do that? Also I have a full name, guy from US (Paypal show it to me), asking for an ID or something at least it helps me to know that it is not a Vietnam kid?

last time i checked neither ebay or paypal offered seller protection for digital goods so you're completely at his mercy once you send him the login. he can say he didnt receive it and they will give him his money back if he does. maybe you could recover the account using recovery questions or something if the does though

If its sketchy or questionable in the slightest its a scam
Legitimate buyers will pay in full with a major credit card on an account with history. If you have it question it - its a scam

Good points, probably better going to another site more focus in Game Trading. I remember Playerauctions(.)com on it they can do Acounts sale.

I probably sould send him a message that the process is going to be done on another platform if he really wants it. With small 2-5% discount for the "extra" steps.
