Just bought crypto for the first time, only $400 worth and have found that reddit usually has the wrong info for shit like this.

Looking to not become a brainlet but catch up relatively quickly. How did you all gain knowledge and intuition about it? Is there a certain youtube channel or resource that helped you learn the basics?

If you're in the states, coinbase is easy , fast, and extremely user friendly for someone new. It helped me get started and then changed to PRO after I transferred the crypto. I do not know of a better alternative at the moment.

I've switched to Kraken recently, mainly since they're supposed to have better technical support. Too many stories of Coinbase crashing during price swings, or people getting locked out of their accounts with no recourse.
