I think you actually have it wrong. The increase before biden was purely monetary and due to the halving, which I guess you could say is a weak dollar. But we have 3xed since biden was elected. Cryptocurrencies benefit from the gradual decline of trust in competing institutions. Maybe exposing the United States’ third world tier voting practices and installing a dictator with a standing army has something to do with it. Perhaps adding racial justice to the mandate of the central bank for what was the world’s reserve currency over the past 80 years has something to do with it. I think it hae more to do with general societal decay that has been so plainly in view for people around the world than anything to do with covid.
