He has and maintains a stranglehold over the future of the platform, he shills ETH 2.0 endlessly and has used (for years) the misleading branding for the phases of ETH 2.0 to shill like the promised features of ETH 2 are just around the corner or here... sometimes talking about Phase 2, then next twitter storm talking about how ETH 2.0 is launching (but now forgetting conveniently to use the phase 0 branding)... then walking away from the phase branding when it became clear that phase 2 will never ship or if it does, it will be 4-6 years in the future. He also rushed phase 0 out to market in the face of published research demonstrating possible protocol-breaking flaws in the design, and rather than address that the entire mETH dev community pretended that it never happened with fingers in their ears and eyes closed like this is some kind of fucking game where they can just roll back the chain and not incur consequences.
