I know nothing about the technology of crypto I don't even know what a blogchain is, but I bought 100k GRT at 15 cents because everyone kept on calling it THE GOOGLE OF BLOCKCHAIN. That was the only thing I knew and had to know about GRT before I instabought it. It apparently being already used before being listed in the market, which btw it was listed everywhere on its first day, was just a bonus reason for holding it. FUD about tokenomics or presale prices are useless. It is already called THE GOOGLE OF BLOCKCHAIN. Any argument is invalid. You cannot fud this. You can't just write a one liner like "pajeet coin" or "token not needed." You cannot post a pseudo-intellectual essay highlighting your opinion against GRT. Whatever you say or do, this is THE GOOGLE OF BLOCKCHAIN and people will keep on buying it doesn't matter if you believe it or not, hell it doesn't matter if it makes sense, if it's true or not, it doesn't matter if it's a straight out lie. People will keep on buying GRT forever because it's THE GOOGLE OF BLOCKCHAIN.

GRT is link but here and now.
The reason LINK made /biz/ excited originally was the tokenomics behind staking, when combined with a needed piece of infrastructure for all of DeFi.
The point is that when the tokens are staked, there will be few circulating coins and then the coins become expensive. But you don't cash out. You stake your coins, and maybe cash out some of your rewards, like interest. You get a passive income source. And when everyone thinks like that, because it makes economic sense, nobody wants to sell their coins and it can become very expensive. Especially if there is continuous demand for the coin as part of important web3/DeFi infrastructure.
Link is currently at $22, without staking. GRT has staking right now, is also an important part of web3/DeFi infrastructure, and currently trades at $0.63. It doesn't matter if there's a 600M supply cap or 10B if they are all staked and nobody wants to sell. The price can go extremely high in both cases. And in both cases, you'll want to be staking your coins. And you can do that today with GRT, I am, it took all of ten minutes, 20 if you include watching a youtube tutorial. I have been staking for 3 days and have already gotten rewards. It works. It's here. It's the Google of Blockchain.

Furthermore, consider this. If it lives up to expectation and can give 5-6% yearly returns for staking, and if you buy a sizeable amount now, and it does 10x over a few years, you would get 60% of what you invested back, yearly. If you invested $10,000 now and it ends up doing 100x in a few years, you would end up getting $60,000 per year back in staking rewards, forever. Not a bad investment, if you can get in early, like RIGHT THE FUCK NOW!!!

do you honestly think that those who bought in early will sell all their stack?
yes, supply will unlock and some token will be sold, but I suppose most of those will be delegated. This is a long term hold and people know that, especially early investors.
I don't know if price will be affected, but most probably not. At least, not significantly.

This same phaggot spreading the same lie again. I've already told you 2 times yesterday.

VC token release is 6 months after mainnet launch, so that will be June. Also, VCs are not retarded like you anon. They won't dump all their tokens, they think long term. Most holders also stake their stack. Currently more than 1B tokens are staked, not circulating in the market. Besides, the tokenomics is already known by the public, so it's priced in. See you at $5 before March.

Just like Chainlink, GRT is a scam token. Why? Because the token has no reason to exist, except to generate revenue for the "developers" who can sell their bags to the suckers who "invest" in it. The token is not really needed for the network to function, its utility is phony and contrived

I know how it works. Like I said, the token is unnecessary. In fact, removing the token from the equation would probably make the network more efficient.
But don't worry, most people buying it have no idea how it works, like this guy >>26146812

P2P is among some of the worst returns you can get since their delegation ratio vs their stake is shit.
The Graph dashboard is sorted by stake weight and brainlets keep hopping on the same few at the top and diluting each other's returns. There's plenty of reliable indexers with better returns in the top 20 though.
