Everyone in here has an apocalypse boner because that's exciting and makes for fun stories. Admittedly, 2020 was good for feeding that. Having said that, once I get past the urge to feed into the hype and hysteria I do think that there are indications that there will be a push to a new normal. It won't be like it was, and there is real instability in the air -- see China and Iran -- but I think they're going to push for normalcy at home so they can continue to squash the middle and working classes.

Think of the boiling frog. The whole idea is that you turn things up gradually so the frog doesn't jump. Well, the last year was a massive escalation enough so that people are openly talking about balkanization and civil war. I think they turn things down a bit, higher than it used to be but lower than it is now, and they let that new temp become the new normal. Maybe down the road, in a year or so, they make another big push but right now I think they don't want to push any more instability out.

As for the USD being dropped, I think that happens eventually and maybe even soon. There's a lot in motion right now with currencies and merging financial infrastructures, in addition to the weird shit coming out of the IMF where they told all the governments of the world to spend more than they're able to, and I think that bodes well for XRP and people that hodl XRP. Though I doubt that's good for people in general in the long run.

I just don't see the theatrical shit that gets posted that people are claiming they want to see happen. It's not ultimately beneficial to the entrenched establishment and that's what all this always benefits.
