if i read it correctly in /biz, Exodus is bad for high exchange rate.

If you want to be a trader and do trading then I would recommend you opening binance and kucoin accounts. But if you are an investor, after you buy coins of these CEX (because they have lower transaction fees as compared to UNISWAP) you transfer them out to a wallet. Not your keys, not your coins anon
