zoomers decided they weren't going to buy boomer shiny rocks that were dug out of the ground
much like how they are also not going to buy the cardboard shitboxes that will be falling apart at the seams by the time you are wanting to cash them out to survive the last 10 years of your retirement
you would rather drool into a cup and shit into a diaper in a nursing home for 10 years than die and let your kids make it

0. The economy is hibernating due to COVID. The limited circulation is causing deflation.
1. Market is expecting another stock market boom from stimulus.
2. Investors sell gold to get cash to buy stocks before them.
3. When Robinhooders get their Bidenbux bankers will dump the stocks on them and escape to reserve assets.
4. Once lockdowns are released the economic damage begins to materialize.
5. Inflation rises followed by multiple carefully planned stimulus checks. PMs skyrocket.
6. Fiat-denominated debts and obligations of all heavily indebted western economies will be inflated away. (GREAT RESET)
7. Some classes, like pensioners will be given a pittance (UBI) while bank will be given bailouts.

Ok thank you so here’s the deal. My account is all PM miners and it’s down 20%. I am sure there’s a lot more downside still coming. Should I sell and then rebuy or since I’ve held through to two large pullbacks should I just hold all the way through and quit looking at my account and maybe double down at the bottom when gold hits like 1775 or 1750?

Rising interest rates = lower gold prices in Basel 3. Lower interest rates = higher gold prices.

Gold is priced as a 0-yield bond with infinite maturity (but it has industrial uses too).

But even when interest rates lower, gold doesn’t really move higher. Also how much fucking lower can they go? With all of the debt and currency printing gold is worth only $1,850? Impossible!

Germany is at -0.7% interest on the 30 year. It's possible to keep going negative to increase the price of all currently issued bonds.

The limit to this is a -100% interest rate, 1 year treasury which lose their face value in 1 year, but these bonds beat -99% interest bonds. In this world, your money in the bank will disappear if you do not spend your money. I'm pretty sure this is the world we're headed, and Gold could cost $1M because it's a 0% yielding bond.

Think about it.

>> No.26046199

Why is there a flood of money going into the 30-year bond? Who is even buying negative yielding bonds? Why are we discouraged from buying this asset?
