A good entry point is anything below 500 at least. Expect the price to explode around 20-30 dollars after this next staking round at least, which ends in around 10 hours I believe but also expect a large scary dip of for the last round of staking, since doing a single pool for dexg causes 10% of it to be sold off for USDC, dropping the price among other things. After the exchange launches, should it be a functional exchange, the price will probably start moving up at a better rate. February will be a big month for DEXG, and if you are willing to take the risk I think it is pretty good to get into it right now or in the post staking dip for the final round, which is near the end of January. diversifying is a meme unless you have a large holding: everything is tied to BTC currently and your "moonshots" will get fucked concurrently if BTC drops, and your moonshots also get poor rewards since they are only a couple hundred per token

Convert everything except the BTC/ETH you are holding back into LINK. As for the 2k in savings just keep that for emergency funds (and other life nonsense).
