LINKUSD has been in clear consolidation for months not. LINKBTC and LINKETH finally showing signs of a bottom. when btc calms down a little alts are going to rip and LINK in particular will melt faces. massive DeFi re-rating is coming as can be seen from how well SNX and AAVE have done even through this week of BTC dumping.

If one trades 1% swings with 1k LINK swing stack, he can usually make 4 correct swings out of 5 and with a generous stop loss he can net 30 LINK out of these 5 transactions, a decent wage for a day of hard work. Even more decent if he keeps his gains when LINK goes parabolic.
And we're talking bleeding the arbitrage bots that simply keep LINK in line with BTC, not manipulating the price, not fudding on /biz/, just having the chart open on your 3rd screen, noticing channels and just doing a quick sell followed by a buy in 1-5 minutes.

alts have shown a ton of strength this week. many are up in sats despite being down in usd. great sign for looming alt szn.

also consider pic rel. options pricing lower volatility here but call skew still very high. shows that on a whole people are very bullish but expectation is that bitcoin ranges for a while. and what happens when bitcoin ranges?

Memes and experiences of failure.
1% a day is an easy goal and during a bull market its basically childs play. People underestimate just how significant 1% or even 0.5% daily is. 1k compounded at 1% daily over a year is 37k at end of year. 1k at 2% a day is 1.3m after a year, 2% a day is tricky but not impossible.
Compounding gains is cheat code to success.

No resources man, it started like this - I kept the one minute chart open in a side window while doing some work (freelance coder, not very busy recently) and over time I got more and more frustrated with seeing how the price will play in the next minute or so and not taking any advantage of it.
So one day I just decided I've had enough, moved 5k of my LINK to an exchange and tried to trade. Got fucked, identified what caused the disaster (emotion, caused by overexposure to risk) and just came up wtih a strategy that seemed safe.
Mind you, everyone's a genious during a bull market, the volume is high, the bots are stupid, the volatility is high so even if you fuck up the price will likely revisit the point you made your mistake.
My method is merely watching for a the formation of a channel on the BTC/USDT 1 minute chart, while also having the LINK/USDT open and ready to trade. When BTC/USDT hits a local top in its channel and starts going slightly red, and there isn't a longer term trend that interferes with the channel, I usually sell and set a buy order slightly above the channel's next low point, which is about 1% lower. Doesn't work with market buy/sell, and either have a stop loss ready for the smallest mistake or keep your finger on the trigger.
That way I am in LINK almost all of the time and once every hour or so have a clear opportunity to steal some LINK from a dumb bot.
This will work until it won't, so I'm not swinging the gains, just my initial (after I revered my initial losses)
Mind you, many on /biz/ are actual artists in this sorta shit and would laugh at me for days for what I described. I just found it mostly works for me.
I recommend starting with some training wheels - I just used excel as I had that installed, but most exchanges have some training functionality.
And never get cocky.
