Moscow and St Pet are very nice, but they are basically a different country from rural Russia. They're very european. I even get reactions as if I'm stranger just for saying that I come from Moscow, not even France. Still I like the regions they have some kind of confyness too. bear in mind, when that I say this from a stranger perspective that have a pay equivalent to upper management there. For an european its cheap af. Some anon said min wages are about 250$.

I really like Siberia too and cold places in general so if anything I'm seeking those -40C but i can understand that its hard to live with these temps when you're on a budget.
Also its the most based country for snowbiking, as long as you avoid military zones theys don't give a fuck about what you do. License is not needed, special rescue equipment is not required. Any kind of identification for your snowbike is not needed, unless you use it in some city. You still need a license for powerfull radios tho.

Yes, basically. I also opened a Russian bank account and brokerage account. First I did it under my wife's name to keep it simple-as, but last summer 2019 I went in and opened my own Sberbank and FINAM accounts - come to find out they don't give a fuck about FATCA. I've been reading about Russian culture and history, I get the impression people in Russia are broken, cucked specifically where it comes to govt corruption. Its more eastern in the sense of community> individuality. I remember reading about some phrase Russians say that translates loosely to something like "you think you care the most"? Coruption and crime are considered there as some common things that happens pretty often and don't surprise anyone now. People there are so tired that most of them have already given up and don't see any hope for things to get better. Many people just spending their lives on the same boring route like - work, home and nothing else. Most of them are dying in awaiting of something that probably will never come. People think about new politicans just as a another group of rebels with some lofty ideals that will bring only destruction and a whole bunch of problems to an already exhaused population of tired people.

As a Russian who had spend most of my lifetime living here I can tell you that this country have no future and will never become a good place to live in, and that's not because of Putin or corrupted government at all. The Russian problem is much deeper than many of you realize - it is inside the people themselves who have lost the last drop of courage and hope to keep fighting for their own country. I can write many things about Russia and why it's not a good place but it will take too much time for me - just don't move here and stay safe in your own motherland.

Russia is based but it may be muh extreme for a western people. As was mentioned - try something in eastern europe. There you will get the taste of slavic culture but with significantly lower level of corruption.
