Now that the dust has settled. HEX has completely 100% Rugpulled and the Liquidity on the Uniswap pool is near zero while admin keys are still not burnt. The price keeps falling every week for months and the marketcap is plummeting as nobody can cash out on zero liquidity in the pools. What went so horribly wrong with HEX? It was supposed to replace Fiat Currency

I don't think it's a scam or a ponzi. I'm just not so sure it's gonna take off. You can't become the next bitcoin when your user growth is near zero and your spokespeople consist of a few memelords.

i've been watching some of the HEX conference videos over the past couple days and tbqh these people representing HEX don't instill a lot of confidence in me. people who speak for bitcoin do so in a convincing and compelling way. aside from RH the people who speak for HEX are memers who just repeat what Richard says. Imagine Hexologist going on CNBC to explain HEX to investors

I agree 100% with the influencer criticism, they are indeed pretty terrible.
It became unironicaly became a cult, which Is pretty bad, but I blame it on richard desu. The tatics he uses and the constant spam shilling and brainwashing, even though alot of what he says is true, I just don't agree with the methods and I understand why people think it's a scam.
The worst part is without question the sheep repeating what the preacher says.

I'd have a lot more confidence in HEX if we had some more smart influencers out there spreading the word. I saw Ken Bosak is a Hexican now so that's good, but what HEX really needs is someone like Pomp who can shill HEX to CNBC and Bloomberg's audience, or someone like Andreas who can speak to the tech crowd. without that it's gonna be hard for HEX to get any momentum

The community is great as an ingroup and a community, but in terms of outreach it is somewhat lacking in being self-conscious enough to be truly effective, although they're absolutely dominating twitter, so it's not all bad.
RH himself is actually amazing as a communicator and very effective when he gets a platform to speak, but for now he has been memed into being an outsider, although I don't think it will be possible to keep him as such for long.
I reckon at some point someone more widely respected in the "serious" crypto establishment will speak up and the flood gates will open. All it really takes is one guy who decides to be first, so long term I'm extremely bullish on the future of HEX.

It's what happens when regular people show their faces instead of anonymously frogposting on imageboards. The downside is that it looks like a ragtag team of zany characters, which can seem off putting to some. The upside is that it shows that there are people who believe the project enough to show their face and bet their reputation on its success.

That's entirely wrong because users mint their own tokens, they don't receive interest from anybody else.

yes Richard is a master persuader and excellent communicator but he can't do it alone especially since he's shunned by so many people in positions of influence. If we don't get more smart influential people shilling HEX and not just memelords I can't see how any serious money is going to come into HEX.

the "origin address" owns the majority. nobody knows if it's richard though most people assume it is. OA hasn't sold any coins as of yet

having a bunch of coins in the OA has some benefits for other holders. a large number of unstaked coins it means the amount of interest paid to stakers is higher (since inflation is a % of total coins). market cap is higher so HEX gets ranked higher on coin ranking sites. and also puts upward pressure on price as the coins are not for sale.

people criticize OA having so many coins but it seems to have worked out well so far. Most of the top coins have huge economic centralization as do most top stocks, but nobody ever bitches about that. when HEX does it though it's bad cuz reasons

Richard will be doing a "keynote" tonight to cap off the first HEX "conference". Looking forward to seeing what he has to say.

even if HEX goes to zero I wouldn't regret it because it was such a fun ride. The reason I bought HEX originally was because I had watched so many of Richard's videos and figured even if all the money goes directly to his retirement account that's fine given how much quality content he's provided. Turns out it's making me rich too, so far at least.
