Breh, the only reason you should invest into cryptos is to convert the profits from a speculative asset into more PM. That's it. Be bright enough to recognize that for cryptos to survive, at some point they'll have to decouple and circumvent fiat currencies and start anchoring their value on commodities like precious metals, otherwise they'll be destroyed through hyper-inflation and currency debasement (i.e. being a "millionaire" in BTC doesn't mean much if a loaf of bread costs $25,000). Yes, you can make amazing short-term gains in the crypto sector (I have), but don't get high on the BS. With PMs you'll be able to convert into whatever new currency comes after the dollar, as well as whatever cryptos are able to survive the carnage (if any survive).

That's pretty much my plan if I do invest in them. I have zero faith in crypto as an investment; it's speculative, no intrinsic value and intangible. I do like it as an alt-currency and have used it for payment plenty of times.

Opportunity cost is a thing. shitcoins holders are truly the greatest minds on this planet.

At least this time they seems to acknowledge they are gambling on hot air ponzi scams who will eventually crash down to zero, where they belong, instead of being dumb cultist like in 2017. That's a good thing, at least they'll be smart enough to secure some gains instead of having 'hands of steel'. On the other hand, the day the fear kicks in, since no one want to lose this musical chairs' game it will be the fastest paced crash ever recorded, and literally anything could trigger it. The volatility will be out the chart.
Now seems to be a good time to partially cash out if you already made sweet gains, at least withdrawing your initial + a lil' bonus?

That's why shitcoins need to be backed by commodities, i agree.
Alone, shitcoins are inherently worthless, they simply are a protocol.
Alone, commodities are illiquid and outdated as a store of value in the numeric era.
They both need each others to thrive, and there is no doubt in my mind it's the future of cryptomoney (and not cryptocurrencies, notice the difference).

You don’t even understand why gold has value
There’s already “intrinsic” value and utility in Bitcoin.

Just don’t invest in bullshit like alts, even ETH is just a project at this point. Bitcoin isn’t.

I dumped all my PM'S for crypto earlier this week. Good decision.
Basically, there is far more opportunity in crypto than in PM's. You gotta ride the wave if you want big gains.
PMs will do okay in the near future because of money printing etc, but cryptos will do even better for the same reason. So if they are both deflationary stores of value to escape from fiat, why not invest in the one option with bigger returns and then increase your PM stack with the money made from crypto?

They are in for the quick gain, riddin' the biggest ponzi ever while it last, nothing wrong about it. That said, you are way too late to profit from it fren, we are at the top of the wave, or very near from it. Risking your real wealth now just to maybe squeeze few extra shekels out of it is really not worth it.

Also as i said it here >>25644478 you already own what the future cryptos will be denominated with (among other commodities, it could be anything, but of course precious metals will be an obvious first choice for backed cryptos). In a sense, by betting on shiny rocks you are also betting on the future of shitcoins.
An analogy i like to use is cryptos being the technological support for transactions, just like phone lines are used for internet.
Speccing on cryptos is like pilling up phone cables hoping to make money because ppl uses them to transfert cash on internet, that's ridiculous. The smart move is to understand what will define new cash, and it wont be few lines of code any pajeet can create out of the blue in few hours (9.9K different shitcoins currently existing..lol) obviously, but a scarce ressource, with now new methods of transferts.

Basically we are about to rediscover gold backed bank notes, simply faster and more secure.
