you buy BTC because it's unstable and hoping it gives you gains, but for the very same reason it's useless as both currency, store of value and reserve asset.

Bitcoin is less and less volatile every dollar that enters. People and institutions are flooding money into bitcoin, making it more liquid and stable. Eventually it gets to a point where Bitcoin actually is the global standard reserve asset. You are blind to what is happening before your very eyes.
