Man I know that feel. I work in my dad's audio business making microphones, we sell to some big time producers and artists like green day and peter frampton and rush, but I dont get paid shit man I literally make less than 300 a week. I know it sounds cool when I tell people but it really is soul crushing but it's still conflicting. He wants me to take over the business but I dont want to be handed something like that I wanna make my own name. Thats why I've been learning to hack and Im about to join the military for it, already got my sec+ working towards OSCP so tech school will be a breeze. Would've been a multimillionaire if I didn't get hacked in 2018 when I was short after buying eth at 5 bucks along with some other alts but I'm young that's a lot of wealth right there.

We work with more of the producers and shit but more big people have been buying recently which is pretty cool I'm happy for my dad. Managing a small biz is a shitload of work, bro. The business has been declining for years along with the entire industry in which we work, and unless we reinvent ourselves I don’t see how we could make it another five years without bleeding ourselves dry. We’ve discussed creating new revenue streams which may help, but are certainly no guarantee to keep the doors open. At this time I also don’t have the ability to grow the business, or the desire to run it myself, frankly.

I can understand specific cases, just want to get the point across. Sometimes businesses start during good times and then decline and there's nothing you can do, just part of the life cycle. If that's true, then don't look back, but just make absolutely sure first. There is a lot of social capital from friends and rapport built up over decades that you don't necessarily see everyday in the daily business grind
