Crypto diversification is not a real thing.
With stocks you invest in different (and unrelated) industries. All cryptos are tied to bitcoin so if that gets fucked up so does all of your precious "diversified" coins. You can buy all the different coins you want but all your money is still betting on crypto.

Ok cool guy. Not everyone has crypto. i've made a pretty fucking penny on TSLA, and (using the above mentioned rule), I pulled out some money from the IRA before the end of the year to take advantage of that.
I personally have 2.3k in crypto, mostly in LINK, but been diversifying with some shit coins as well as a bit of LTC/BCH/BTC. Not wanting to pull the trigger on anything with the lump sum cash. Maybe fill up my Roth for the year, maybe put $1k on some more crypto. The rest I'm holding for a bit to see what my next move is.
