ETH high against BTC was in June 2017. It has been falling for almost 4 years now. In that time 22 million more ETH has been created
>https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20170615/
AND EOS just one ICO has dumped 7 million in ETH in the market. This is why ETH has been falling against BTC for almost 4 years, why ETH can't even reach $1,000 and why it will continue to underperfom Bitcoin. You need to grasp that or you're going to keep losing money at an opportunity cost of not holding King Bitcoin.

eip1559 hasn't been implemented yet and is a marketing meme at this point to cuck Ethereum investors to think they're investing in a deflationary coin. In the meantime, 22 million more ETH exist today than when ETH hit its high against BTC
>https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/2017061
AND EOS dumped 7 million ETH, PLUS a lot of ICOs combined dumped unknown millions AND when the staking rewards from ETH2 POS chain are unlocked, that will release millions of more ETH besides the POS rewards that are minted today. Anon, you are getting screwed by meme eip1559 and ETH staking will make ETH scarce fairytales. Staking only has locked up 1.5 Million ETH when there is 30-40 ETH in circulation today compared to 2017/18

>>25425288
That is 10% more BTC in circulation over the last 4 years vs 19% more ETH in circulation. If you count the EOS dump of 7 million and the dump of top ICOs like Tezos, Bancor, Filecoin, that is at least another 2-3 million. That is about 28% more ETH in circulation today compared to 10% more BTC in circulation. Hence ETH is stuck below $1K and BTC is at $33K

>> No.25426697

Average value ETH / BTC: 0.04

Bitcoin in circulation since ATH: x1.1
ETH in circulation since ATH: x1.28

= 0.86 decrease in relative value
=ETH should be at 0.034 when correcting for inflation

At the moment ($33k) that would be about $1.1k for ETC

So how do you explain that? Negative inflation expectations alone do not explain almost 50% value difference

>> No.25427302

stop thinking about it in terms of btc's narrative with inflation etc
ethereum is now completely in a league of its own. the "utility token" meme turns out isn't a meme and everyone uses the ethereum blockchain for everything. you need ETH to interact on it
The proposition of ETH isn't the scarcity, although believe me it is scarce enough, it is that the ethereum technology will be *the* blockchain system of the world.
it is an order of magnitude used more now than bitcoin. it is also not even 5 years old. lol.
just think.
